In this documentary they explore how gender inequality affects people in many countries. It shows how women and men are treated differently in work, pay, and social expectations. I saw that in many places women have fewer opportunities than men, even when they work the same jobs. The documentary uses real data and interviews to show how unfair things can be. After watching it, I felt more aware of why equal rights and equal treatment matter for everyone.
Different countries with similaritie such as language, popularity, history and culture. They are both supported by NATO since the 20th century(despite of the long wars that happened with other countries across the world). After World War II ended in 1945, Winston Churchill, the president of USA decided to build a closer relationship with Britain and the UK by organizing a lot of tracts and conferences. This relationship is seen as warm as before even during the Cold War era.
Christianity has been popular let's say the oldest religion in the history. It's used mostly in literature stories, bibles and school books such as Jehovah books about Jesus. The Christian language consists the words such as church, Jesus, amen, christ, easter,Christmas which makes it kinda versatile and kinda interesting for everyone who discusses this. I'm a fan of Christianity also since I was a kid because I love the Christian religion.
Today ,I want to post a viral video that really got my attention and angered me because it reflects a part of reality how women are discriminated, oppressed and humiliated by men who are in leadership position. This video includes several offensive arguments by USA President Donald Trump toward different female reporters.
I picked up exactly this case because it emerges and highlights all what we have got till now about gender inequality. The President is the person who represents his citizens without gender ,racial or ethnic discrimination. After all, he has been elected by both genders.
His offensive behaviour especially toward females ,means a lot. President has an absolute power, authority ,wealth and he reflects this in the worst possible way by displaying arrogance, insulting, and attacking women in a biased manner.By doing that ,he gives bad messages to the public, that women should remain silent, not demand for accountability, be submissive and stay invisible. This reveals female discrimination and misogyny because there is so much hatred speech addressing to women.
Eventually, such words coming from an important figure who is supposed to be fair and equal to everyone, further deepen gender inequality and aggravates ceiling glass effects.
The "glass ceiling" is a metaphor for the invisible barriers that prevent women and marginalized groups from advancing to top-level positions in organizations, despite qualifications and achievements. This concept underscores persistent inequalities in the workplace that prevent women from reaching positions of power and theequalitarchive
leadership.
Globally, women hold only 27% of managerial positions, according to the International Labour Organization (ILO). In the U.S., only 8% of Fortune 500 companies are led by women CEOs, reflecting a significant gender gap in leadership.
Women in the U.S. earn about 82 cents for every dollar earned by men, and the gap widens in higher-level positions, with women executives earning about 85% of what their male counterparts earn.
Only 19.7% of board seats worldwide are held by women, according to a Deloitte study. In some industries, such as finance and technology, this number is even lower
- A few weeks or a month ago, a video appeared on my YouTube page recommendations related to how the nations that fail women, fail themselves. This title itself held quite the weight on it itself and I want for other people to also watch it and leave any kind of thought in the comments or in class possibly.
